Im not sure where to start. In the past I have painted the background first then the foreground. The painting I am approaching is a winter scene with a horse and buggy in the foreground, city in the background.
I think I will do the background first but would love to hear from you. Tell me your
Its just one day away from Valentines Day. Although I paint hearts and hearts are a symbol of Valentines Day my hearts were not really meant for Valentines Day gifts. I paint hearts for those to send to remind someone we care about, on a daily basics, that they are always on our minds and we care. I do love Valentines Day because its a day to tell that special someone that we love them. I am one of those blessed wives that get reminded of that very often. There are some relationships that too much time passes that they forget to take a moment to give a hug. Perhaps we should all take a moment to hug our husband, wife, child, friend. Valentines Day is a perfect time. but don't forget the rest of the year.
I started to paint hearts to give to friends and family to remind them that I appreciate them. Sometimes we forget to tell those we care about just how important they are to us. I realized how happy my friends and family were after I gifted them, not necessarily because they received the gift but because I thought of them. They loved that they had a token reminder that I am grateful that they are in my life. That is why created "Sendaheartart.com".
Today I enjoyed the beach. I feel very blessed that I live so close to the beach and the climate is almost always beach weather. Shortly I will be adding to my website "beach paintings". Nothing inspires me more that being able to relax at the beach and go home and paint.
Today I was asked to suggest which of my mini hearts would be good to send to a customers friend. I personally find that difficult to do. Not because I painted all of them and love them all but because art is a personal thing. I think you and the person next to you and the person next to them given the same question would all pick a different one.
